The ONE AND ONLY ***OFFICIAL*** Crysis thread - SPOILERS!

Blimey is that all you have to do, wait for all those things powering up.

I'm on the "Core" level, but I have no idea where to go, I'm just floating around in circles killing the odd alien. It's getting boring though.

Help would be apreciated.

Yeah i didnt have a clue where to go either, i just floated about aimlessley to, god knows how i ended up at the end of it, what an appaling level, utter utter garbage that, i just sorta floated towards where the light was coming from all the time, all i was doing was looking about going wtf, where the hell am i going, what is this garbage, wtf am i supposed to be doing. :D

i know what you mean about the Zen comparison...but apart from making me feel quite sick i enjoyed the level. the environment looked amazing and really the aliens were easy to kill. there's lots of ammo floating around in little chambers too. just remember where you went in to a big chamber and navigate through! i thought it was gonna be ***** upon entering the zero g thing but as said it only lasts 20 mins if u dont get lost + stressed! easy tiger...

but where are you supposed to go? it doesn't seem to be any obvious route, and everything looks the same so it's hard to get your bearings.

pfff I've already spent about 30minutes floating around there. I have better things to do with my life, it's a shame, because the previous "onslaught" and "awakining" levels had been so good.

I hear lots of people saying they play at 1680x1050 on Medium-high settings on a 8800GT. I can't even play at low or it drops below 20fps sometimes! Doesnt anyone have this setup on Vista 64bit?

I'm playing this on 1680 x 1050 with max everything 16x A and its playing like a dream ,granted its a gtx but did not think there was much difference !
I'm suprised so many people are having trouble with it

I don't believe you.

you can't have everything on max settings (very high) and 16xaa, and still get playable fps.

unless 2-5fps is playable for you.

Yep you're right, follow the light dude. I'm sure a lot of other people got through this level with little difficulty :P

Should i try crysis?

How would you expect it to run on:

x2 3800 @ 2.7
2GB RAM
x1950 Pro 512mb
Windows XP SP3 RC1

I'm not one for having all the visuals on. I can happily run without AA and AF (even though i know that would be totally unrealistic with my system) and with low settings as most of the time it still looks great.

Would the gameplay make up for this?

My friend stupidly bought this the other week for his 3 year old pre-built system. Only had a FX5700 :D
He's offered it me for a tenner so just wondering if its worth it. :)
