Gord you put my weak photoshopping skills to shame...good job hehe. Here is my attempt

Just dont stop, when i started out all i did was play with tutorials. Once you learn the software its only your artistic ability that limits you. A painter at heart im thankfully bounded by few limits... keep practising.

Sirius.. id have gone with a similar inner style border to the rest of your image ala..

that suits the style of the cars lines and the texture you have used...rather than totally separate the texture from the car.. just a thought for the future

Something different, still playing. :p

Edit: Siruis, your texture has an inside border much thicker than the 1px width of the texture lines...personally it looks slightly inconsistent.. but each to their own

I used vector graphics to create the swirl bit to mirror the cars general curves. Over that are different texture layers with different blending.

The text was written on the square style texture youve been using, after it had been motion blurred... i then used the text selection and copied that from the blurred layer giving me the lined text... ;)

add me to msn if you want and when i have spare time i will teach you many a wonderful thing :P

When creating a signature, you should start with a canvas of 400x75 pixels [for these forums]. You shouldn't try and scale it down afterwards, otherwise it could create some unwanted side-effects, also, as you have just found out, it is much too large for a signature!
