My bad. You're right. I think he dreamed up some ideas and didn't look to see how they'd work out. Used his experience from running entirely different companies that have a much smaller user base and much simpler rules to abide by, and is having to learn quickly that he can't just do as he pleases.

I don't think even the Elon defenders can argue that Elon moved way too fast when he took over twitter. He could easily have waited 1 month and did absolutely nothing but learning why things are the wya they are. Then if he wants to, do all the exact same changes as he has.

There was no reason to rush so many drastic changes through.

He couldn't have been further off the mark with covid. Just another clever guy who thought they were experts in a subject they had no real comprehension of. Trump I'll excuse because he is a million miles from clever and was just lying to the country/world because he didn't want it to hurt his polling. Musk read what he wanted to see from any info he saw and then made a ridiculous statement. Yet again showing he is impulsive and doesn't listen to people he doesn't agree with. And people think he should be in control of one of the worlds biggest social media platforms. What happens when something big happens and Elon doesn't agree with the experts and he puts himself in the middle of it? Imagine he had been in control of Twitter when covid happened.

We already have the answer to that.

You'll have a group of users saying that clearly, what Elon is doing is a mistake/wrong, and then you'll have users say, we can't comment as it can't be wrong because Elon has lawyers that earn more than us.

That's it.

Elon isn't wrong as he has lawyers, while Elon continues to be extremely wrong.

Nick Fuentes would be considered on the extreme end of the far right.

I don't know why Trump felt it a good idea to have a meeting with someone who only make extreme content online. Also in this mix with Kanye West aka Ye, and Milo Yiannopoulos,

The FBI knows all about them.

Where is the good PR from this move?

Not everyone stalks alt right figures and knows whose who and what they are up to like those on the left do?
 
Trump, as a former President (somehow) is followed and protected by the Secret Service for the rest of his life. There is no way they didn’t vet someone coming to dinner with him, do background checks or know who he was.

You don’t just sit down for tea with an ex-president at his own home without everyone knowing who everyone else is…

He did sit down openly with a Neo-Nazi, that's why we know it happened. Apparently he doesn't even want to condemn him for fear of upsetting his base.

No doubt Fuentes showered Trump with praise as soon as they met, which is the well known cheat code for Trump. That's all the vetting that's needed to meet with Trump

So now Apple never threatened to remove Twitter from the App Store. There is a surprise. Elon talking out of his arse again.

Reading the comments its reaching sickening levels of sycophancy. Its worse than the MAGA lot with Trump. Apparently Apple backed down because they are terrified of Elon, his paper $150B and a company loaded with debt. Yeah Apple and their $2.4t in cash must be shaking in their boots :cry::cry:
