The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

It must be quite hard work defending elon when the story changes each time and then they have to change their defence because what they believed was happening wasnt happening but what we said was happening was actually happening then they have to come back and defend the stance that they said wasnt happening and then have a go at us for seeing what was really happening and pointing it out.

Then they start putting comedians in and saying the left dont get humour. Depsite the thing they said was a jpke turned out not to be a joke. It must be really hard work.

The most insulting thing is drawing comparisons between Elon's **** posting and genuinely funny comedians.

One user actually found it funny! The joke that didn't exist. He found it funny that the richest man in the world was calling for the prosecution of a doctor. What a sad individual

Calling all Elon simps. Can someone please explain to me how posting this video of your boy Musk getting booed on stage with Dave Chapelle was violating Twitters ToS? Because the user who posted it on Twitter seems to have had their account mysteriously banned. I'm sure they were just joking when they posted it so why are they now banned???

Is Elon calling for the prosecution of trump yet for his role in covid killings? Or for his coup attempt? Or just the prosecution of a doctor?

I forgot how the order of things work. Elon just reinstates trump for this right?

Prosecute fauci (who worked under trump), reinstate trump. Makes sense lol
No, the real answer is prosecute/investigate them all and let the evidence / trial decide..

1. There is already the Jan 6th Cimmittee looking in to Trump isn't there? He was already impeached (and Acquitted), but we still have the ongoing Jan 6th Committee that is still progressing, so why would he need to call for something already being dealt with?
2. Covid killings - Well all leaders get a buyout from them, every nation made some 'decision' based on 'whatever' and all we have is a league table to say we who feel did better or worse just purely on deaths per capita.. Shame we couldn't do this in come cases, but it'd never stick, it would be like prosecuting a prime minister for going to war.
3. In 2020 Fauci claimed "the NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.” and the US Intelligence committe at that time said “it concurs with the wide scientific consensus that the COVID-19 virus was not manmade or genetically modified”. It turns out that A. The NIH did give an award for this to a US based company that used the Wuhan Labs (since 2014, which was renewed in 2019), and the deflection that it was not man made was also later found to be non sensical with absolutely no evidence found to support that, but plenty of evidence to support it was a Wuhan lab leak. I'd say that this was dis/misinformation on a huge scale and actually I think Fauci has something to at least be investigated for, so if that took a prosection, so be it, and the truth will out.. It's not a conspiracy theory at this point to say the Virus originated in the Wuhan labs, the bone of contention now is was that NIH award directly connected to the research that led to COVID-19 being developed (and accidentally leaked). A fair criticism and something I think should get clarity on.

I will say I think Musk should tone it all down, he might have a history of hot takes etc, but I also don't find his posts helpful either.

It would not surprise me to find he does this, but let him get called out, he wants transparency, give it to him..

I mean, he's getting a lot cheers and boos. You did hear the cheers right? Or has your brain filtered that out automatically?

It hasn't gone unnoticed that you completely avoided my question. Why would Twitter ban a user for posting a video of people cheering Elon? Is that better? Shouldn't you be working?

is this like the last time someone claimed that Musk was shadowbanning someone and that turned out to be misinformation?

looks to me like the guy deactivated his account not that it was banned.

I think it could be to do with filming a live comedians set and posting it online, generally you can't do that as the material isn't public yet. That would be my guess. I worked last night for a few hours so I'm pretty ahead on today, but I am working as well.

Accounts that are banned look like:

So yeah, going to call ******** on

To be fair FishFluff and posters like him just read the comments on Tweets and look for opinions that back up their already formed views, they then repeat that on here as if they're original takes. They're such tragic victims of confirmation bias.

Shareblue folks always have the same talking points

Got to say, this thread does make me laugh sometimes. It's like a far less serious version of the trump thread back from 2016 to 2020. The same feel to it, with users needlessly defending a billionaire, but far more funny.

Who here is going to be paying for the blue tick? Anyone? No one? Not even daddy Elon's followers? Genius idea.

I'm sure soon Elon will be boasting about the blue tick users, though not about revenue strangely enough.
