The story about the Tesla scare caused by a fake Twitter post. It's scary to think that the markets act with so little due diligence whoops I knocked 5% off your pension because I didn't actually check some piece of questionable data that crossed my desk, but don't worry any scammers who made a killing off it will probably be quite happy.

The number of times the herd moo's and charges is scary, we are so beholden to big finance and it is at times seemingly so disconnected from the real World.

Which is the fact you know nothing.

Though if you took a small time to yourself to see what he posted with personalities matching Elon Musk by the same month they were born in, you would see a pattern arise, but because you are a sheep to science, you believe, no critical mind at all.

Yes back to ignorance, it's safer.

It's also hard to think we don't have free will because then our afflictions become accountable.

The problem is time is often critical. Of you suspect a stock you have invested in is about to plummet then then the safest course of action is to sell quickly before the drop. This minimize the worst case outcome, part of a minmax strategy which is optimal in many areas such as chess strategy. If you have dumped stock but the market doesn't react much, you simply buy back in with minimal loss. If the stock was to crash then you have saved a big loss.

The other thing is investors are largely completely ignorant and never perform better than chance. If investors actually researched and comprehended the technology, market, and fundamentals then Tesla stock would have never been so high.

Elon Musk is not a good talker. I can see that, most people who can't talk well do better taking action and action was taken.

To avoid the pitfalls of the ego you must love all fairly with the same intentions you give to yourself.


Odd bit of esoteric info, Nikola Tesla, Elon Musk and I were born in the calender month of July, all 3 are the zodiac sign Cancer.

I like to throw in odd things like that. Break the mould, show the world possibility, not the limitations of the the ones above.

@D.P. Can't disagree that Tesla looked massively over valued. There was another story a few weeks ago where an insulin manufacturer was spoofed the same way, amazing then too that the herd just reacted the way it did. Like I say it feels like evidence the process doesn't work, that Twitter is the source is almost inconsequential to the problem. If it wasn't Twitter it would be something else. Frightening that my future prosperity is tied up in a way these bozos can affect with so little thought.

Liking Elon Musk because they're the same zodiac makes almost as much sense as liking him because he's a genius inventor.

Be interesting to see how the stock behaves today, Will likely just bobble along fairly stagnant, but if it does drop sharply again could get very exciting.
