The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

That's a rather dodgy thing to start doing isn't it?

Although at this stage I don't know whether him endorsing something would be good for the advert/brand or not!
Extremely dodgy! I don't think it's a wise move for anyone involved.

OK doritoes gets a boost thanks to Elon, and then Elon boosts some dodgy company that doritoes don't want to be associated with. Elon is not someone you can trust to not be in the news for negative reasons, and imagine the story "Elon Musk has promoted mypillow, which has now been successfully sued for 4 billion by x y and Z. Elon Musk has also recently been promoting other brands like doritoes"

It also throws the success rate for adverts out of wack. How will the companies track their success of a campaign, when the owner has promoted it? Though that's more just nit picking

The sycophancy of some of the accounts like Sir Doge of the Coin is actually nauseating. They treat him like he's a god as they desperately crave for him to just show them the tiniest bit of his attention. No wonder his ego is out of control.
I think they more want Elon to push doge coin to get it up to a dollar etc, these accounts will be heavily invested in doge and it's currently way down from its peak.

Can’t believe that the NFL would risk Elon’s life by showing footage of him being at the Superbowl last night during the live broadcast. Any would be assassin could have taken him out :(

Yeh but think about how public, busy and high security a football stadium is.

Nothing like knowing which airport he might be at.

....oh wait.

Yet another example of Musk over promising on what his companies will do and then putting pressure on staff to deliver.

Sounds exactly like Twitter, he doesn't really understand the nuts and bolts of the operation but still thinks he's an expert, resulting in staff being put under pressure to deliver and things predictably going wrong.

Last time I checked, all neuralink has managed to do is kill several dozen monkeys.

Lol

Joe rogan "Elon truly believes censored social media is a threat to democracy that's why the media hate Elon"

Everyone with a brain "so why did Elon ban media for reporting something Elon didn't like?, why did Elon fire half the twitter work force with no notice, why isn't Elon paying rent, why has Elon banned the guy that posts publically available information about Elon's flights?"

Joe rogan "no not that stuff"

Good job Joe. Way to justify your own views and ignore the reality.

Joe rogan "people say Elon went nuts now and is right wing, but can't give any examples"

Everyone "what about when Elon was spreading Nancy Pelosi conspiracy nonsense right as the story is still unfolding? What about when Elon announced he votes republican because Democrats are so mean to him? What about when he told 147 million followers and all the views to vote republican right before an election?"

Joe"no ignore that else I'll be wrong"

Musk continues to stall on his 'new CEO' promise. Now it's been shoved down to the end of this year.

Yeah I was surprised at that. So that twitter poll meant nothing, almost like Elon didn't care what the result said.

Good to see he's donated 2 billion to charity. Even with the tax reduction he'll possibly benefit from, it's still a good chunk of money for charity. Hope it is well spent and it encourages him to do more

He really has gone full egomaniac. To throw a hissy fit because the president got a higher engagement the night of the Super Bowl. Its bordering on dangerous him being in charge of Twitter if this is true.

What a bloody donkey. The trouble Elon now has, by forcing his tweets on users that don't care to engage with them, is that they will engage but negatively. Then Elon will walk on a stage, after seeing record levels of false engagement, and be shocked when he's booed off and every is just tired of his stick.
