In non-Twitter news but still concerning Musk, he's going to announce 'Master Plan 3' on March 1st which will detail "the path to a fully sustainable energy future for Earth". For those of you with small biceps who might not be in the loop, this was Master Plan 2 from 2016:
So, in short, Master Plan, Part Deux is:

Create stunning solar roofs with seamlessly integrated battery storage
Expand the electric vehicle product line to address all major segments
Develop a self-driving capability that is 10X safer than manual via massive fleet learning
Enable your car to make money for you when you aren't using it

I'd argue that maybe 1 of those things has actually happened so far? 1.5 if you're feeling very charitable. Can't wait to see what grandiose BS will get announced in the next part of our favourite benevolent Tech Bro's plan for humanity (that no one asked for).

I remember when Musk was supposed to be releasing Twitter's 'Fauci Files' within 2 weeks. Funny how that's vanished down the memory hole...

Solar roofs were available for a short while, so I'm counting that as 1. The .5 is for self-driving. It would have scored a 0 if Master Plan 2 had stated full self driving, as that's still years away even if being optimistic.

Weren't they pulled because they kept catching fire?
Or was that just the ones Musk's installers fitted.
 
Well that "hearing" yesterday was a complete **** show and the only thing that came to light was that it was Trump's executive branch that asked for tweets that insulted him to be taken down and Biden's campaign only asked for tweets that contained images of Biden's son's nob to be taken down. The rest of it was the likes of MTG ranting about their own twitter accounts and how unfairly they were treated. If that is what we can expect from these hearings they are massive own goals for the Republicans.

Yet daddy Elon thinks the "woke stasi" felt the heat :cry: :cry: Keep taking the red pill Elon.

so Musk withdrawing rights to use his satellite/starlink system for Ukranian drones isn't on twitter - so it's not happening
he says it should be only used for humanitarian goals ...
I suppose the Tesla factories are out of range of any missiles/drones.

A former Twitter executive testified on Wednesday that he was forced to leave and sell his home following a campaign of “homophobic and antisemitic” harassment over the company’s handling of a New York Post story about Hunter Biden.

Yoel Roth, the former head of safety at Twitter, made the comments while speaking to a committee in the newly Republican-controlled House of Representatives, at a hearing convened to scrutinize the social network’s handling of a 2020 report on Joe Biden’s son.

Roth said the release of the so-called Twitter Files by Twitter’s new CEO, Elon Musk, led to a campaign of harassment against him and other employees. The harassment intensified when Musk and others amplified “defamatory” claims that he condones pedophilia, Roth said.

The Twitter Files, shared by Musk in December 2022, was a series of internal records showing how the company initially stopped the story – which the Post said was based on a copy of Hunter Biden’s laptop hard drive from Donald Trump’s then personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani – from being shared, citing the company’s internal policy on “hacked materials” and concerns from Biden’s campaign, among other factors.

Roth said the release of the Twitter Files, which included his name along with those of other decision makers at the company, had “very real consequences” for his safety. “This lie led directly to a wave of homophobic and antisemitic attacks against me … of which Twitter has removed vanishingly little. And following the Daily Mail’s decision to publish where I live. I had to leave my home and sell it.”

Roth noted he was not the only one affected, saying lower-level Twitter staff around the world, including the Philippines, “had their families threatened and experienced harm equal to or greater than what I’ve experienced”.

“Those are the consequences for this type of online harassment and speech,” he concluded.
