I love the idea that the advertisers, who are absolutely trying to get people to spend money on their products are scared of the apparently tiny minority of "leftists", as opposed to the majority of the public who are apparently according to Fox news (the lying channel*) et al far more "right wing".
I mean if the "leftists" were such a minority, and the racist and anti-Semitic. anit-government rants of the sort of people Elon unbanned and is now actively acting as tech support for (catturd etc) were so much "normal" and acceptable to the average american, then surely the advertisers would have no issue with them, after all that's where the money would be.
Meanwhile back in the real world, advertisers that have spent decades and billions of dollars of their clients money trying to do things like create a family friendly and all inclusive image (maximise your market bro!), tend not to want an advert for their product running next to a rant against the "globalists" or how segregation was a great idea. I mean advertisers will spend a lot of time and money just to get their advert in the "right" slot for their market under normal conditions, they certainly don't want it running randomly next to something that goes against their brand image and values (beside it not being shown to the "right market", it's actively seen as harmful by them to have it running with some content).
It also won't have helped Musk at all that he got rid of pretty much everyone at Twitter who understood how advertising works, who booked the adverts, and who tried to ensure adverts could be targeted thus generate the most money as a small number of targeted adverts always brings in more per view than a large number of untargeted ones, you can run several lots of targeted ad campaigns for the same total number of ads as one untargeted campaign.
*Acknowledged in the dominion court docs and Fox news' own internal documentation that they absolutely know they were actively lying about the whole stolen election thing (apparently even Murdoch under oath has stated that Fox endorsed things they knew were false).
