Have a new X logo, but keep a connection with the old blue bird which makes sense with the current usage verb of 'tweet', because no matter what the idiot says, no-one is going to change to say 'I'll X you' or 'I'll send you an X' the same way no-one says 'I'll bing it' whatever online search engine they use.

It would also be typical of how businesses evolve a logo. The they can back track a bit or go further over time depending how its deemed to be doing.
Its an X, but its also a blue bird, you can find stylised pictures of birds like that, supposedly in flight.
(Bottom right beak, bottom left tail, top two parts the wings)
Very clever design.
I can see them not going for that due to a desire to rebrand away from the old image - but it is actually a pretty decent logo as simple logos like that go.
It reminds me of the rebranding of Yammer to Viva Engage which just had me going what?!? though I understand they are trying to bring it under the Viva family of products but it is obviously the think of someone who is detached from the actual usage of the product and how it appears to the average user.

The last thing I want is any company having a everything app. Government should step in at that point, it is bad for everything other than that company for this to happen. And I don't care who the company is, its a massive no from me.
