Aye, seems to be related entertainment services, namely multiplayer comms and services provided over the Internet for gaming purposes.

I guess that may be an issue if x is trying to be more than a social site as we are hearing.

And then Facebook we hear has something related to x.

Perhaps there are taxi apps that have x trademarks, payment firms with x trademarked etc.

Maybe that is the issue Elon will face as he tries to do more with an app that is used to tweet 500 character simple messages

Who knows, probably a while off yet although twitter does seem quicker with updates and other stuff compared to previously and he does have prior with payment services. As with most things in twitter like the trademarknthing just take it with a pinch of salt.

Althouhh he's probs a little salty still after the whole x.com merge with paypal thing 20 odd years ago.

Or another way to say it is he makes bull **** claims to raise money and then never delivers on those claims.

There is some justification in it.
But there are also competing sayings such as "aim for the impossible and be certain to fail"

The key if aiming high is to set it at the just possible limit. So everyone recognises that its possible but OMG hard.
Like when the US set to get to the moon in the 60s.
Massive challenge but not impossible, and as we saw they made it. Everyone was motivated to try

Musk regularly does the "we can go to Mars week after next" levels of stretch and hence why generally he partially/primarily fails.
Whether he would have more success with lower but feasible goals, who knows.

The first thing you generally have to do when managing a project is to engage with the senior stakeholders to realign their expectations with reality.

Do they own the trademark to x or the trademark to x when related to gaming systems?

I am not a lawyer, nor do I play one on TV, but I'd guess that the bit about "online chat rooms" would be close enough to clash with Twitter. Twitter isn't for messages regarding computer games, but it host a lot of messages about computer games. Seems close enough, I think.

Close enough for MS to more than likely have the lawyers looking into it anyway.

Without the governmental control, it'll happen eventually

Why do you think that? I can't see any advantage of an everything app over having multiple apps specialised to their purposes. Why would I want to have social media all up in my train tickets? Yet alone handling my banking or health insurance?
