The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

The cope is so so strong here.
It's so wilfully blind to what Musk did and is doing.

I mean "many buys platform to let people speak their minds" completely ignores man fires most of the staff without following the laws of the countries they are employed in (and their contracts are in), their employment contracts and does so without knowing who or what they are...
Then does it again.
Then refuses to pay any of his bills

And keeps making changes to the platform that make things worse for pretty much everyone because he's trying to please a small but vocal group and doesn't understand what it is he's actually doing, or what he bought and why it was popular.

I mean he's certainly going down in the business text books in the future, as a prime example of how you can be good in one area of business but not have a clue in others. I'm still trying to work out why other than drugs and an obession he'd decide to do away with a level of brand recognition that most companies would pay a fortune for, in order to make the company sound like a porn site with a name that is totally unremarkable and is already in use thousands of times over so he's going to struggle trademarking it in many countries.

yeah that is a big mystery.

why he couldn't just do what alphabet or meta have done i don't know.

Aye at least their execs realised that keeping their most recognisable names was good, even if their rebranding for the parent company/holding company was very meh(tah;p)

They've not decided that everyone has to go around alphabetting to search for something.

Well I can start the blue tick tally, thats a no
So 0/1 so far
0/2

I'm not sure why he thinks any of us would need to have had a blue tick to understand why a clear indicator an account was the real deal was important, or that Musk's decisions at twitter seem to have been a series of unforced errors right from the joke offer to buy it.
