He said he was going to charge a dollar a month per user or something - when did he mention advertisers?

I don't like Elon, or billionaires in general, but Twitter got played here. Looks like the key shareholders were counting their eggs too early... when it's a rooster (Elon) that they're dealing with.

Look at any right leaning poster in here, and it's all bots bots bots. They have bought into the idea that Musk has uncovered the lie about bots and now have decided twitter is guilty, Elon is innocent, all hail papa Elon. You don't have to search for to see the usual right leaning posters defending Elon with the bots talks. So Tony is right that it's now what right wing push as the story.

I guess he decided it based on the fact that it was a talking point when this first came about. Even lbc when they talked about this, time and again the subject came about trump back on twitter. It was on Donald.win that this was the 5d chess they were waiting for, Elon buys twitter, trump returns, true news gets spread. The Dems are found guilty and hung etc etc.

What Tony is saying is correct. It started out and the talk was about trump (but not limited to it) and now the talk is about bots (but not limited to it)

Disagree all you want but it's something that can be shown by literally going back to the start of this thread.

I'm pretty sure he said he would look at charging businesses a fee, not regular users

Trump is a talking point because people click news stories that mention his name, but it was purely speculation. I've no idea what Donald.win even is? lol

He literally said as part of his gimmick he would unban Trump.

Where did he mention advertising revenue and bots or did you just make that up to protect pApA eLoN?

Trump never said he would rejoin though, it isn't just a one way thing. Musk was also immediately asked about Trump by some news reporter because it is all people care about, it's the derangement syndrome. Musk essentially said he doesn't agree with permanent bans except for bots. This is why you're all going mental about Musk and Twitter, you only care about Trump.

Fair enough - though the board did take, or at least talk about - I've not followed up on what they actually did, quite a few steps initially to protect themselves from Musk taking over and now trying to see it through. As a general point I find it amusing in passing.
