The ORange Box on STEAM!!!!

so did most, as thats how it has happened in the past. Valve didnt say when they would release it during the day though

Starting to look more like 7pm to early hours tuesdays morning now as it seems they will be releasing during there working day.

I was hoping for a release for us at 8am but never mind, as long we get it later today or tomorrow im happy, just need to twiddle your thumbs abit longer thats all :p
 
I'm not going to get to play it tomorrow as i've got to build new PC, install Vista and everything :\

Might just get some action if I copy my entire steam directory straight to my new PC :x

I don't think that would work. Create a partition, backup steam and put it on said partition, then fire it up. That should work :)
 
Don't know why you lot are expecting to play the game today. I'm expecting a brickload of steam related issues and client drop outs as they fine tune the code :)

its 6 and 2 3s, either way the exact same data will be on his new pc, if he creates a new partition, puts it on a new HDD, burns it to DVD, sends it over network etc :)

just wait till closer till launch or just after as im sure it will go sub £20 then, I went for the steam pre-order due to it being almost the same price as the online shops but with the added benefit of being able to play TF2 early.
 
Do i have to sign up for the beta somewhere? I have finished preloading tf2, and there is nothing in beta participations in the config window, or do i just have to wait till its unlocked?

It does work, even from XP>VISTA>XP.

Just launch steam.exe out of the folder, voila >_<
Did it yesterday by chance!


Anyway, REALLY hoping for it to be out today, if not i'll just go shooting tonight ;) Targets!!!! NOT PEOPLE!

I used to play TFC way back competitively, wow, must be almost, 10 years?

The place that sells it £23 also offers student discount I believe, that's probably how he got it.

That said do I have order it in-store to get it that price? Their site doesn't state anything about student discount?
