The Outer Worlds (Obsidian)

Has anyone confirmed if this has a decent graphics options and most importantly, a FOV slider? I always find the major reviewers NEVER discuss graphical options. Only a select few, those that don't, I never trust as a result.

From what I saw of Cohhs stream, the graphics options were the usual fare, nothing expansive but not entirely basic either and there was a FOV slider

It's giving talking heads your hard earned that baffles me.

I dont do it (like I say, it baffles me why anyone spends money on alcohol or cigarettes, let alone streamers) but I guess for some people they feel like they are part of a community and feel that the streamer should be rewarded in some fashion for putting on a "tv" show and so they subscribe. But probably a discussion for a seperate thread as I dont want to annoy anyone who is seeking Outer Worlds info and might accuse us of derailing or something.

Pre-loading now. Paid £1 for the Game Pass trial. Its only £3.99 a month after. Ill try my best to finish it in a month haha. It took me over a year to finish Fallout 4 at about 50h though.

I wonder how much Microsoft have paid the devs to put this on game pass day 1?

Oh the reason I posted... getting 250kb/s- 13mb/s download lol - Servers are not doubt being hammered!! Going up and down like a yoyo.

Microsoft own the developers, although being published by private division.

also imagine MS see it as gamble, sure lose money short term compared to selling game at full retail, but plenty will sign up for the MS pass to play the game, and I reckon beyond that they are heading thier bets on people keeping the pass longer term after seeing the value.

Ah didn't know they owned them, makes perfect sense now. Yeah I bet lots of people will even just forget to cancel and because its such a small amount of money will not even notice it going out the bank.

I've just preloaded this via the MS game pass. If it had been similar in length to New Vegas, I'd have likely bought it to give me more time. One month should suffice though. I'll drop the saved money on the epic that is RDR 2.
