The Pascal GTX 1080 Ti Review Thread.

There are oc results.

Not impressed with the new cooler, looks like after market cooler or water still
Looks like it is designed for stock usage. It will take some power boost, but struggles with manual higher overclocks.

OC3D counted that it had one whole extra cooler fin compared to a 1080. Wow so dense!

Via Hexus:

Specifically for the GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition, though Nvidia says it has an improved cooling design, our research indicates the underlying GPU is still being held back, and we expect to see more performance and quieter acoustics as the better AICs turn their hand to designs.

I guess we'll have to wait for one of you guys to watercool the card before we'll know more - I won't get to install mine for another week or so assuming nvidia delivers.

Some great reviews and card looks great!

I assume that on water, the GPU will be totally fine? So a FE on water should performance equally as well as a custom cooled GPU? Ir not better.

Pretty much. 1080FE did not lack in achieving the same high overclocks as custom boards with their trillion power phases once both were under water. Was silicon lottery at that point.
