The Pascal GTX 1080 Ti Review Thread.

Having read the reviews would people say the 1080 Ti is value for money or not?
Not for me and my £700 KFA2 GTX1080 HOF which is only going to be worth around £475-500 already  so would cost me £200-225 to upgrade to a GTX 1080 Ti & I game at 4K so would see some minor benefit! Nothing really struggling with my lowly GTX1080 so I will just struggle along for now ;)

Going from 980Ti to 1080Ti - Huge upgrade and well worth the extra 120 USD for the EK block. Not sure if I was using the FE cooler. How much will MSI etc charge for custom cards? Will they be faster?

I would Yes and No. Yes in that its a beast of a card and a good successor to the 980Ti. No in that Brexit/exchange rate has taken jacked the price up which really isn't the 1080Ti's fault but is still a factor.

On Linus' review they put up a graph showing dollar per frame and the 1080ti was one of the best. It's good value for money for the performance even given it's price tag. Depending on how much performance you need though a 2nd hand 980ti is probably the best value you can get right now.

If I were buying one (which I'm not because I have a 1080 and game @ 1440p) then I would just get the AIB that has the quietest fans. Because there will probably be almost zero difference between the various vendors from a performance perspective.
