The Pascal Titan X and XP Owners Thread

1520mhz boost at 83c card. Doesn't sound great for the air cooled guys here.

Boost of around 1700mhz should see around 18-1900mhz overclock ability on water? Have to wait and see exactly what that translates too vs 2.1ghz 1080.

Thats my point. unless you are going to game 24/7 with 100% fans, I can see people only getting 1800 to 1900 boost from their titans which will mean its only 14% faster than the best AIB oc 1080s. I think its got to be water of nothing with these titans. Why keep the same stupid cooler which struggles with the 1080?

thats not much of a step up tbh.

I called to check the progress of my shipment, it wasn't clear - but she kept mentioning August 9th, I believe she said restock date.

When I pointed out the "Delivered in 1-3 working days" she tells me that is from when they ship it. Which doesn't appear to be just yet....

My confirmation email was at 14:26

Got the same story, spoke to a supervisor but they seem to have no influence over the warehouse, the call-center is in the Philippines.

My last rig with 4 Titans was in 2013. Don't think I'm going to have the funds to play this time round :(

Digital River are saying 9th.... Just spoke to them. I ordered same time as a lot of you guys, moments from launch and checked out as guest in seconds.

There must be hardly any units at all. Shock horror. Going by the comments on the other page of who ordered and when at launch, and getting 9th August as the go to reply, I doubt they had any units at all.

I say that because my 1080's on air boost to 1911 and drop down when at temp. Even on water the same 1911 boost. They do however overclock another +190 so sit happily at 2101mhz under water. Without dropping at all under load.

Seen around 1700mhz on the Titan before temps kick in and drop it below.

On water we should see around the same overclock ability as 1080 so around 100-200mhz overclock. I'd guess around 18-1900mhz Max overclock?

I think you are right though. Titans always have had clock issues with the ref cooler.

Water or nothing if you want the higher sustained clocks.

It's doubtful I'll buy this time around. But you know me, that might soon change :p

dodgy when they are shown as in stock.

Well here are some pics. All the games were run on max settings and AA at 1440p. The cpu is a 4770k at 4.4. 110+ on the clock and 50 + on the memory in afterburner .
Had to run the fan at 70% otherwise it would hit 83 and throttle.

Tried Total war warhammer but that made a whole 3 fps gain on teh 2 980s i had. The fan at 70% is pretty loud. So hope those evga hybrid cooler comes out soon !
