Pop to any Japanese / Chinese / Korean supermarkets and you'll find lots of weird and sometimes wonderful snacks. Pepsi Cheetos are not even considered weird

ed: tongue musings

I bought some duck's tongue when I was in China last. It is foul.
It was a large bag of individually foil wrapped tongues, that was found in the confectionary section of a shop in Shanghai airport.

Whilst I've never eaten Whiskas cat food, comparing the smell and the visuals alone, you could probably just go for some of that.
The tongues were packaged with a Whiskas-esque jelly, which did nothing for the already nauseating texture.

I'd find it difficult to compare the taste to anything I've eaten before, but the aforementioned pet food would surely be close.
It's not a sweet treat and it's not dried like jerky. It's a slimy, savoury snack meant only for masochists, and the Chinese.
