** THE PHANTEKS ATX CASE YOU HAVE ALL REALLY BEEN WAITING FOR - TIME TO EVOLV **

I don't really need a new case as such but my R4 doesn't feel the best suited for an impending 290 Xfire setup, this case however.........

Has anyone seen the Enthoo Pro M?

Identical to the Enthoo ATX inside with cheaper outside.

Evolv ATX: $179
Pro M: $79

Not quite, less fans and no PWM fan hub in the Pro M for a start. Added to that no modular HDD trays or extra SSD mounting brackets and pump mount. Look at it that way and the price difference is completely justified.

I do see that, but if you plan to replace the fans, don't require the hub, don't plan on using HDDs and just use some imagination to mount an SSD it does work out better.

I'd love to see the Enthoo without the extra bits, if it's a case of getting it cheaper because there is less in there, it would be fantastic to have the option like the Pro M

We could wish!

What are the main differences between this and the Luxe? I'm trying to decide between the two for a Skylake build and it's not an easy choice. The lack of ventilation on the Evolv is a concern, particularly seeing as I might go down the watercooling route (at the very least I will be going for an AIO liquid cooler such as the H110i GT).

5 1/4 Bays for starters, no fancy out of the box RGB LED strip option, no 200mm fan in the front, no 420 rad in the roof.

However Evolv ATX will take a 360 in front, luxe won't.

I you are gonna build with optical drive, some mechanical hdd, ssd and want some better air cooling as well as using an AIO cooler then Luxe might be more suited to you. Yet a full wc setup has plenty of options to.

If you want a more minimalist build, full wc rig with dual 360 rads and some ssd's and something that to me anyway looks much nicer. Then go with the Evolv.

I'd also suggest you download the user manuals and get a clear idea of the layout of both. Its a hard decision I always wanted a Luxe to compliment my Primo, but the Evolv ATX was too good a fit for me.

Thanks Colin. My plan is to get the case some time this month, put my old system in it for the time being and then upgrade to Skylake once it's released. I'll have to have a think about which one appeals to me more and will suit my build better, but at the moment I've got to admit that I'm still leaning towards the Luxe, or possibly even the Primo if I can get it on TWO.

Most of the first batch of stock is now sold guys.

Hi ChugNorris (Love the name!)

This is my first post on the forums so first things first "Hi Everyone!" :) I recently placed an order pre-ordering this case which I'm ever so eager to get my hands on! I placed the order on the 19th June and I wanted to know if I have not missed out on the first batch. If you could check this would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

Sam

Hi Sam, don't worry, you are in the first batch. Just an update, there has been a delay on the container unfortunately, the anodized aluminium material finish for the Gunmetal Evolv ATX wasn't up to scratch, so rather than shipping a sub-standard product, Phanteks have delayed the shipment to get it 100% correct. We will still be the first company in the UK and most likely Europe to receive our stock, and we will have a few more units added to the container due to the delay so more people will be able to get one :) I will 100% confirm an ETA by the end of the week. Apologies to anyone waiting on these already!
