Season 1 was the best thing I've watched in a long time

Just binged the first series over the last few days, got more intense as it went, and I was fully absorbed and barely touched my phone throughout.

Only 1 more to go. How come they can make this series in a year, make fantastic, well written and gripping stories with great characters, when other series take years to make half the number of episodes, which are mostly dross and filler? Series 3 due to drop next Jan.

Well its set in one space if you think about it. Just the ER rooms. which is the best part about it. Also Noah Wyle is the producer and see he has writing credits, maybe the days of the gruelling ER filming seasons maybe still in that mode?
You are right though, perhaps the producers just have their house in order and I cant think of a single filler episode in both seasons.

It's top tier TV, binged through Season 1 in no time. It's annoying that Season 2 is out of sync with the US, only 3 episodes available so far on HBO Max

Great last episode. Consistently brilliant series.

“The writers’ room opened up last week, and they’re at the end of their second week,” confirmed Wells during a chat on March 19. “We will be back in production in June, and plan to be back on the air again the same week in January with 15 episodes next year.”
