The Placebo effect - true story

While I don't doubt the OP, it would have been a lot better just to give all of the information initially.

Even with the info we have now it may or may not be remarkable.

Yes, but motivation isn't the deciding factor here. How did his routine and diet change?

The study sounds terribly designed, what was it actually investigating?

Finding this very hard to believe. 4kg in 30 days isn't achievable if you're a beginner, it isn't achievable if you've been working out for a year and simply push yourself harder and it's above the typical gains I would expect to see from a cycle.

HGH doesn't affect your HPTA like steroids do - and the effect of HGH is completely different and disparate to the way steroids behave. This is not something I intend on going on into on this forum - there is plenty of info available out there. Besides, if he was on the placebo, which I'm guessing was just bacteriostatic water he was injecting, then why would his testes shrink at all?

I was kidding about his gonads ;)

this,

something clearly isnt right, i dont think the tests they used were accurate. guy probably did lose weight and gain muscle, but nowhere near the amount they stated.

I call bull on this. You can't say simply being more motivated yielded these results.

Also 4kg in 30 days, unless noob gains (still very questionable) is comparable to dat der cell tech results.
