Like the first shot.

Ideal subject for 17-35L here... ...ducks!! Just started post-processing about 30 mins ago. Impressed by the sharpness of the lens, f/2.8 @ 35mm - USM, 300, 0.3, 0.1 - fine for the 100% crop, perhaps too strong for the web resized shot?

100% crop!!

Another 100% crop straight from the camera, just USM - 200, 0.3, 0.0
100%

Nice and sharp, only problem being slight CA in the bokeh of shots, gone by about f/5.6 but it's there, still not too shabby for 100% crops on an old beat up 17-35L (70-200 not arrived yet :()!!

Not bad way to score your debut goal, to win the game :D

^ Simple but effective, like that. :)

Took these the same time as I the cottage pics above, my little one playing over the park. Really overcast day and started to raining so not the brightest/colourful of images to start with.

I love my 24-105mm :D

Where is that? Like "exactly". It looks familiar.

It was a church down Oxford High Street, don't know the name of it unfortunately. A little further up from there you came upto the bridge. I was just wandering around passing time before getting my coach back so wasn't really paying attention

Is it in front of an old house that's a little bit wonky (Tudor style) ?
Because I think I have the same syle photo of the same church...:p

Tell me about it, the amount of railings with signs on them and bikes just left there (loads not even chained up, wouldn't last two seconds in my area!!) was a bit crazy, couldn't find a better one for a pic like that though as the dirty sign annoys me :(

Just a few with the Nifty Fifty

Feels a bit strange having such a small lightweight lens strapped to the front of my 50D but fun none the less :-)
