Took the new lens out for a walk lunctime, very bright so pics of the Swans were a waste of time! Didn't get any birds in flight pictures in focus either
So these aren't what you'd expect with a 120-300 fitted with a 1.4x TC....
The obligatory Duck shot:
This was taken without the 1.4x TC @ f2.8 and unfortunately I got too close so it's out of focus. I so wish I had taken the 24-70 with me instead!
Funky blue dragonfly though, well at least you can tell it's a blue something, you might have to squint a bit to see a dragonfly

Just been out with the Macro ext.tubes and my 50mm.
For some reason the AF just wasn't working properly with them, so had to manual everything... Something I'm not that good at, but it was good practice!
This one shot stood out beyond the rest.
Got a butterfly too

Photography is a reasonably unmolested section of OcUK which I thoroughly enjoy browsing and comments like that are pointless and spoil it tbh.
