I'd be punching well above my own weight indeed, lol. I feel it would be a bit rude to share the website. Might post a few wedding pics of my own though at some point. Nowhere as high as the standard of here.

17-55 is a great lens, sharp at 2.8 at any zoom but I can see some colour noise in the bokeh, was it shot in JPEG mode instead of RAW?

I normally shoot RAW however this shot was taken with high ISO (i think jpeg out of the camera) to get the shutter speed I needed for a sharp shot. Baby wouldn't stop moving :) I'll check the exif tonight.

High ISO = win with RAW :p even though there is noise it looks far nicer and natural compared to noise on JPEG shots at high ISO :)

ok guys, never really posted anything online before, but trying to get into photography recently. Acquired a nikon d5000 from my sis a while ago and just got a tamron lense...this combo leaves me limited to manual focus which i enjoy any way. Playing around with some DOF. Horrible day here, but leaning out of my bathroom window:
