Not the best taken picture but I heard the rumble of the engines and ran to my balcony grabbing my camera as it just pasted by and got a few shots in.

Nothing like the sound of Chinook :D

silverpenguine, I love the last baby picture~ Definitely something worthy of a big canvas print in the proud parent's room :)

This is one heck of a tricky shot for me, doing it in the living room with only an overcast afternoon light coming in from the left. Sometimes, shooting at 1/320s just isn't fast enough :p
 
First time poster in here. I got myself a 450D not long ago, and I've just started to venture into using the manual settings. Been playing in the dark tonight (Oo-er) and I shot this using just the light I was getting off my monitor, I was quite pleased with it :P It's nothing on the shots in this thread, but it's a start!
