yeah , the stain glass wwindow one just wasn't a very good shot, and the other one isn't to bad i didn't think, it looks fairly crisp to me.

Stainglass windows are a pain to photograph, very easily overexposed. One way is to actually get right up and just name a small shot of it or take it with very high f-stop for details...

Wow some fantastic pictures here!
I'm only just started getting into Photography so went a purchased a D300 and a Sigma 18-200mm Lens. Used setting from Moose Petersons Website for sports!

Obviously still getting to grips with everything. Here are a few shots taken from Arsenal last week

Some decent shots, though a little underexposed – it really wasn't necessary to have the shutter speed cranked all the way up to 1/8000 and ISO at 3200 :p

And btw, don't compress them so heavily; it really degrades the quality of the photos.

And here's what gave me the Photography bug!! lol!

A friend lent me his D100 and I went to Farnborough! Just had so much fun I had to buy my own DSLR! Again pictures aren't great but I guess everyone has to start from somewhere!!

Hi there,

Thanks for the tip! I've just compressed them as I'm still getting to grips with file sizes and didn't want to put up a load of crazily sized images.

Loving the camera though just need to use it more and learn my way around it!
