THE MOON, how do you get such good moon pictures? lense? or cropped?

both mate am using a nikon d80,sigma 50-500mm lens (bigma) with some cropping in cs3

Not sure if the above is aimed at me...but if it is about half hour to get a good one, about 12 attempts, with 15 second exposures Nixon D40X.

Nice shots steveo, at least the small dots are easily fixed. I find bees hard to get good shots of as they move around from flower to flower so fast, i guess thats where "as busy as a bee" comes from.

So got myself a lovely Canon 350D and am an absolute noob to photography (As some of you will have seen from my Knockhill shots)

Now it's time to practice practice practice!

Only thing done to these was resize and auto levels adjusted in Photoshop.
