After umming and ah-ing for months I splashed out on a 70-200mm f2.8L IS II last night. You only live once, eh?

Next stop an EF-S 17-55 f2.8 IS, then a 7D. Then I'm done. Apart from an extender..... and a decent Macro...... and a wide-angle..... and a big aperture prime..... and filters for all the above..... and a decent tripod.....

Hello new best friend :D

Gone back home to Oz for a few weeks and met this guy this morning on the door step at my parents house

My english girlfriend wasn't impressed by Mr Blue tounge haha

Best rescued pics from South Lakes Wild Animal Park. Stupidly I shot in the lowest aperture all day so none of the pica are sharp. Quite disappointed but then I am a novice. Deffo need a zoom though! Taken with 60D + 17-55 EFS (one with nifty fifty too I think).

More practice needed :(

Oh great, seems browsers make them all look quite desaturated too... ARGH:

They're using sRGB so it's the browser changing the colours as it's probably trying to use anothe rprofile.

I use Firefox too and on mine it looks the same there as it does in PS/Windows and Firefox.

I use Firefox 9 and my about:config shows that colour management is disabled in the browser:

gfx.color_management.enablev4 is set to False.

Heres a couple of shots from last night. The combination of smoke from the bonfires and the fog made for some excellent atmosphere
