Always been a Canon fan since the days of film and the FD system, now i have been getting interested in Nikon due to the superb backwards compatibility with lenses made from 1959-now. I cant believe i never sampled the competition before, feel rather daft now. I shall hopefully be getting the 35mm f1.4 and 85mm f1.4 AI-s primes early next year along with a digital nikon too.

Only got two smaples so far from a Kodak 400 colour negative film (Not the best but not too bad) Quite well themed for this time of year...

Nikon 50mm f1.8 @ f5.6 (cant get the colours quite right on this one)

Tamron SP 17mm f3.5 @ f8 (i needed to do more fill-in on the right with my torch)

Only had this 50mm for an hour or so but I love it so far! The bokeh is quality! (Coming from a complete newbie!) Glad I went for it for only £50, well worth it
