I've been through a labour of love with my Sigma 105. It still frustrates with poor image quality, focus, and the occasional lens error. Despite never giving the detail I'd hoped for, every now and then it does concede a nice image. Nothing special or really close, but in the literally physical battle with this lens it does give something back every now and then.

A quick one from the night glow in Bristol.

I do shoot pictures out on location quite regularly, but it doesn't stop me taking pictures from my window.

Depending on work I may be able to say hi to everyone at the photowalk at the end of the month too. :)

Also, some shots from earlier this year at uni - someone decided to spread some positive vibes during dissertation/final essay hell:

Jonney: It's unfortunate you cut a bit of her foot off!

First few edits from my trip to Newfoundland. I had such an amazing time. :)

Quite a few out there knock the 24-105L - but I have to say I have no issues with it at all for walk around use! In fact, I used it about 80% of the time. The focal range is extremely useful. IQ isn't bad at all either I would say! All of the below was shot with it.

Its that building that has been converted into offices, also the proximity and angle it comes off the common!
I am on Kings Avenue, just been down the common with my camera, but it was a crap evening for the sky :(

Here's one from my window the other evening, shot handheld.
