I suppose a single teaser won't hurt!

"Paparazzi?!"

Taken during a drive by. The 35 showing it's potential :)

Shooting from the hips (not intentional, just had my camera that place and he put his hands out and I pressed the shutter as a reflex), total fluke as I wouldn't have time to focus/pick a focus point/compose/pull it up to my face or anything but press the shutter. He had just put his hands up that moment and passed me split second later.

Lovely capture Raymond - I especially like the tower in the background as well :)

On topic and we went to the German winter market in Edinburgh last night where I took these:

Cool shot but I think waiting a second to get more of his shadow as a longer lead in line would have been awesome and possibly a step to the right so he was silhouetted against the sky. Was it early morning? I always find early morning amazing for street photography.

There is a story to that.

In Bologna the pavement are covered, people don't want on roads, he (and I) were on the road.

This is a typical pavement of Bologna.

The reason he was on the street was because there was a section under repair/construction, so it diverted the pedestrians onto the road. 1 second before that he was facing the wrong way and a second after that he face the wrong way and with some construction stuff. I was diverted like everyone else and didn't really have time to think too much, shot it on instinct.

So yes, I thought about the shadow too but what can you do. In fact, I even stopped and waited for more people to walk to where he was...the fact is that people just don't walk in the middle of the road, as you don't, it was like a one off. It wasn't morning, it was mid afternoon, its just winter so the sun was low that's all for mid afternoon.
