Man of Honour
That's a cool shot, atmosphere is neat. The hamster hat tickled silly
Shooting from the hips (not intentional, just had my camera that place and he put his hands out and I pressed the shutter as a reflex), total fluke as I wouldn't have time to focus/pick a focus point/compose/pull it up to my face or anything but press the shutter. He had just put his hands up that moment and passed me split second later.
More the 5D3 focussing showing it's potential if that hit the spot.... o.O

Found the same with mine on my 70D, bike was moving and I quickly flicked up the camera and got this, despite the backlighting.

That's a very nice image, shame you weren't shooting away from the sun :(

Very nice.
I swear mrk is having an affair with his lens with the amount of endorsement he is giving it after like a year with it Never see him mention any other focal length but 35. lol
Just had a flick through his flickr, and damn he uses it primarily alright!
Cool shot but I think waiting a second to get more of his shadow as a longer lead in line would have been awesome and possibly a step to the right so he was silhouetted against the sky. Was it early morning? I always find early morning amazing for street photography.
