the bottom one is better, better colours, more detail in the background, better road textures, a pond at the bottom, i could go on - i will, grass is better, kerbside stones are better, race times and postion looks more 3D than a flat image in the PS3 screen and probably image could be sharpened up abit as it seems abit dark which i would use a vga connection rather than what i reckon is being used which is a component connection

funny how tastes differ but i know which one LOOKS Better and that is the one thats been out 12 months already

Will you two QUIT IT. You're at each others throats in every thread you post in. Do not let it continue, please.

lol, not at all man, lets just be friends...I dont want us bitching and bickering over a console. Look man, like what you want but please phrase your sentence to avoid things like this (you know - you on my throat and me on your back) :)

Friends? **Gives man hug**

EDIT
D man, we made up already...so leave us alone :p

However, the beauty of the PS3 is that any updates, whether they are system updates and or programs, can be provided by Sony online.

LOL...that's soooooo last gen ;)

It's almost as if they've never seen anything like it. Yet the original Xbox had system updates/game patches.

There's positives and negatives between those 2 shots. For me the roadside looks better in the bottom one and I like the pond at the bottom as it breaks up the green, however the top one looks nice, clean and crisp.

I like the lighting in both really, but the lighter picture on the top one makes it look very crisp.

Hmm the top one is too washed out and the bottom one is too dark, so neither are that good, poor contrast settings. The top one reminds me of acrade graphics.

I really do think that atleast 25% off JAP PS3 are on ebay.

Top one looks better to me, the detail, particularly in the distance is much cleaner and sharper.

Jokester

the 360 one would be a lot clearer if VGA was being used, thats my only gripe with component, it looks way to dark

do you have any proof or is that just conjecture ?

This image is from the same set as the other one. Notice how the text is blurred? I and many others highly doubt that it would look like that.

I dont think I can post the forum where the images from. I haven't seen it linked to before.

Also a guy on AVForums has confirmed it looks a lot better than that.

The problem i have though is VGA looks too washed out on my 360, although i do need an MS VGA cable.
You will never ever get a comparison shot everyone is happy with tbh. And we can't really comment on the connections used because we dont really know. At least it is the exact same spot in game racing on the same tv.

The race time itself is better ;)

Honestly I was expecting the PS3 one to be the bottom pic. Dunno why. I Think it is the better image, it is a bit dark but that could be down to the TV calibration. It certianly has more detail as you have said.

Maybe thats Sony's tactic. Make everything brighter, no one will notice the detial (well except the 360 owners)

The top one looks a bit more washed out, as already mentioned.
There is a bit more detail in it though, notice the little house down near the water at the bend, not there on the 360 version.
Also the skyline over the mountains looks a bit clearer.
360 looks way too dark, must be using component as mine looked like that as well until I tweaked the tv settings. :)
