The Radeon RX 5700 XT Owners Thread.

FYI Red Devil review by UB is up.
Basically Steve said that with 5700XT Red Devil, is game over for both the 2060S & the 2070S and with the single product AMD managed to kill 2 Nvidia products.

fair play to powercolour, from third rate card manufacturer to top tier products. the toxic team have its hands full trying to beat the devil.

of course, if sapphire rock up with a yellow pcb and acid green fans then all will be right with the world.

All this drip feeding eroded my patience so I pre-ordered the Red Devil. Looking at the reviews I can't see it being beaten by much on performance, temperature or price.

I am waiting for PowerColor to do a Tiamat Dragon version, guaranteed to beat any Turing card.

Maybe they are saving it for when the 5900 XT turns up.:D:)

I bet that won't be cheap, better get saving ;) I still remember Powercolor as a budget brand, will be very interested to see what this Red Devil is like in the flesh.

i wouldn’t rule sapphire out just yet, they are able to draw on contacts and engineering information that the others won’t have access to.

Did some oc on ref 5700xt today, under chilled water. Softpower play table mod is only good for normal water. 2300 mhz core cap in software is easily maxed out with my card. 1.235v on core for 2300 set in wattman or 2250 avg clocks under cold water. Mem oc is still broken or 910/920 mem cap. Chip with 1.35v on core and coldwater likly 2300-2400 avg clock on core if bios ,software or new powerplaytable allow it. Not the newest driver tho for the test runs.

7700k 5.2 aio

Firestrike Gfx: 30456
Firestrike xtreme Gfx: 14340
Firestrike ultra Gfx: 6932

Seems like 5700xt with 2250 avg core 910 mem is close to 2100/4316 2080 super in Fs here at ocuk. 30456 gfx vs 31379 gfx for the super (5.2ghz 9900k). 5700xt is about 2-3% slower at firestrike gfx score.

I've no doubt they'll be good they're just no where to be seen. Not even an official announcement on which cards they're bringing out. I've put my order in for a Red Devil and looking at the reviews I can't see the Sapphire cards having much room to beat them.

I'm trying to stay strong and convince myself that an upgrade from Vega 64 to 5700 XT isn't enough and to wait for 5900 XT, I know the moment I "cave" and order a 5700 XT there will be a announced release date for the 5900 XT!!!

I'd stick with the Vega. I would rather wait for the big Navi card but I need to buy a card now.

A lot of the custom cards seem overpriced compared to where they should be.

This must hurt AMD's sales. They can't control the pricing of retailers...

I think AMD may be part of the problem here, as Gibbo indicated that the retailer margin on these cards is only 5-10%. I always assumed retailers bought stock at trade prices, but apparently this isn't the case?
