Hi,
quick question (did search so apologies if this is a duplicate) received my pre built system with 5800x paired with 6800XT. Under load are temps of 75-80 C on gfx card and 95 C on hotpoint normal? Its the hotpoint that makes me question things
Quick note, everything at stock, including fan curve profile.

With the default fan profile yes.

AS glamza says, you're fine. The hotspot is rated to 110c before thermal throttling will occur.

I adjusted the fan profile very conservatively and now temps are 60-75 C and hotpoint clear below 90. Makes me more comfortable and with my case barely noticeable noise difference.

The fans do a good job even on 75% you'll struggle to hear them.

Can anyone recommend a game or preferably demo / Benchmark that will let me run some ray tracing on my 6800XT? I've had the card a while and not tried ray tracing yet (My old card was a 1070ti so I didn't try it!).

3dmark has a RT test. Whether it works with AMD's implementation of RT or not, I cannot say.

Calling all 6800 or 6800 XT owners, I'd like to compare temperatures.

Please can you post a screenshot of HWINFO64 showing your complete temperatures after say 30 minutes of intensive gaming?

Particularly interested to see what peoples peak Memory Junction Temperature is.

Here i was running at 2400Mhz/2100Mhz, 1.050mv, and fan speed of 55% for 30 minutes or so.

Who am I kidding, ~60% increase is very nice

Love how chunky and solid the card is, I thought my old 980ti Zotac AMP! Omega was a beast, but even though the 6800 is small, it's built like a tank!
