I've been having a hard time trying to get the colors right again with AMD. With nVidia there was an option called "Digital vibrance" which I used to lower the intensity of RGB colors in particular. Is there a setting like that for AMD?

Yes m8, under Global Display then Custom Colour on the right hand side, you need the 'Saturation' setting.

Shipping email just received. So collection by DPD tomorrow for delivery on Wednesday. Woot! Time to see what the 5900X and 6800XT can do together. Genuinely thought I wouldn't be in this position until at least the summer. All thanks to the stock informer websites.

Been out the OC scene for a while especially with AMD cards. What is everyone using to overclock? The default Radeon software, Rivatuner, Afterburner?

had a brief dabble using the Radeon software and ran timespy with vram set to 2150 fast timings, 15% power limit, 2650min, 2750max, default voltage, and seems stable so far

average frequency for both clocks seem lower than expected though.

A little pricey to say the least but considering my little bonus from work and the fact my old card is an R9 290x I figured I really should upgrade before things get worse in the world!

Had an email saying my 6800xt nitro+ se was arriving today but apprently dpd havent got the parcel yet

This happened last time I ordered from ocuk and it was a day or two late

Upgrading from a 6800 so while not a massive upgrade I always wanted the xt from the start anyway and at the price things are on fleabay I'm happy with what it cost me

Paying £200 more for the XT but it's worth it in my opinion for the extra boost to ensure 4k 60fps in all games but cyberjunk and Microsoft Screenshot simulator.

Yeah it ended up costing me about £200 after fees/posting my rx 6800 to upgrade to a 6800xt from here
And yeah while it may be about 10-15fps more in games that should benefit me quite abit playing at 1080p 240fps and especially with the cooling/oc potential of an AIB card compared to the 6800 reference it should be a nice boost.

Did you just happen to be looking at the printer section in the last few days?

I had a glance on Tuesday and to my shock OCUK had the 6800xt Nitro+ SE up for sale which is what I originally always wanted but only had 6800's & 6900's when I was looking 2 weeks ago.

I just couldn't resist even for the ripe old price of £929.99 so grabbed one almost without a second thought... The 6800 was good, but the XT SE? Now that's Amaretto & Cigar stuff...
