Post of the day for me.
Post of the day for me.
I learned something new today.I fudged up the tagging of his name, for some reason if you tag after an edit it doesn't notify said member on the Alerts.
@BGA84 what is your temp at full load (say gaming for 30+ mins)? Thanks
PS Lookin' gooooooooooood all blue lighting
Aren't you gonna miss the RT performance? That has been the only letdown for me. Though, to be fair AMD not providing us with good RT showcase/sponsored games from their side has also contributed to this feeling.
Yup, the AMD reference cards look fantastic for instance. Good solid acoustic performance too!
I didn't realise that SE edition had three pins, interesting.
It looks really nice that. The Sapphire SE editions always look nice, my SE 5700 XT was similar (albeit much smaller).
Sounds like for an easy life just use max power on the slider (+15%) and just a vram tweak 2112 or 2122mhz should give the best results in games. Been the ultimate card it will boost very well been given the extra power to allow it to happen.Hello, in a few days I am going to receive a 6900 XT Red Devil Ultimate, and I would like someone pass me some overclock + undervolt configuration that I could try on this card. I will only use it to play video games
Should i use Memory fast timmings? And how much voltage? And minimun and maximun clock speed?Sounds like for an easy life just use max power on the slider (+15%) and just a vram tweak 2112 or 2122mhz should give the best results in games. I've got a card on water and come to the conclusion that fighting an algorithm is a waste of time in gaming. It's worth using manual settings it you where doing for a 3dmark run to get a big score but not for daily gaming. I've noticed if you up the core speeds the voltage does what it likes and if you where to say set 1050mv down from 1175mv it will just use what it needs and the 1050mv goes out of the window. The other thing to watch out for by manually overclocking is clock stretching. That's where the clock reads higher than you where running and the performance drops off.(eg 2500mhz was 100fps and 2600mhz was 87fps) It can happen with the vram very badly too going too far in games.Should i use Memory fast timmings? And how much voltage? And minimun and maximun clock speed?
Yep, I'm running at over 2.5ghz on the core with +15% (293w) and 2122mhz vram now. Peak temps on water been e45/j60c (low 40's edge and mid 50's junction more common)Was saying this to Matt yesterday, cards are pushed so far now that for gaming you can pretty much plug and play (with a PL tweak) and you're away knowing that you're only missing out on the odd fps here and there.
