The Radeon RX 7900 XT(X) Owners Thread.

So I tried to OC a bit, Gave it PL 15% and some core tuning and about 5% off the voltage.

Tried it in a couple of games and seems stable... any specific games that can stress an OC on the 7900xtx (Red Devil)?

Be interested to see what frames you are getting in Warzone.

Anyone got any suggestions on how I can get the smallest hit to using my 7900XTX to record using OBS. I am getting to 40-50 fps hit playing games.

Had a similar TS score to that with the XTX I tried and got 140fps 4k/Ultra settings.

I’m not getting much higher than that on 1440p mainly low settings fidelity fxcas at 60. That’s without an overclock on the card. GPU hangs around 75/85% usage.

My timespy score was 30,125 GPU 13,885 CPU. 25,628 both.

Timespy extreme was 14,977 GPU 6248 CPU 12,382 both.

Funny feeling your CPU is bottlenecking you. Have you tried a run rendering at 4k to see what kind of FPS you get?

I did have my suspicions it could be that. I was doing some testing on overwatch 2 earlier and with everything on extreme settings it was going over 400 fps and maxing out gpu usage. Dropping down the resolutions to ultra/high etc didn’t make much difference to the frame rate but the gpu usage was dropping.

@henry hoov3r one other thing I know that warzone on Intel systems loves fast ram. Whilst 3600mhz is sweet spot on amd I think on your Intel platform you could go a lot higher.

He's got a superiority complex but check out some older videos by the frame chasers guy on YouTube. Should shed some light on it.
