Damn, so tempted by a Nitro. It's either that or an LG C2/Samsung 95B 55", both of which could then use the extra horsepower the XTX offers. Decisions...

What are your vram temps guys, in either gaming and just idling/browsing?
My Aorus around 60c idle, gaming low/mid 80s, benchmarks/stress tests around 90c.What are your vram temps guys, in either gaming and just idling/browsing?
Very similar for the Nitro, TUF and the Merc too.My Aorus around 60c idle, gaming low/mid 80s, benchmarks/stress tests around 90c.
That’s how it should be and my MBA was the same.Mine seems to be fine. Tested in 3DMark Stress Test and also in Quake 2 RTX where GPU is at 100% load constantly. With fan profile at default, the fans spin at about 1800rpm so it is loud but not noisy. It’s aerodynamic noise rather than that unpleasant noise on old blower style cards. Temps about 85 degrees on junction point. I will be running mine undervolted and most probably with PT at minus 15%.

All high end cards do generate a lot of heat so case ventilation is very important. There have been some shockingly bad cases come out recently. Just a warning on new builds. Are those temps already undervolted or stock? Ordered my new build last night and really looking forward to getting my hands on the 7900xt. Will be a big upgrade from my laptop 1070! first build in 6 years
Two cables total 4 connectors will do as you only need 3 for Nitro.Question - I have the XTX Nitro+ coming today, I took a look at my case the NR200P Max and the PSU included is a 850W compact. The PSU itself has only has 2 free cables, each cable is daisy-chained into 2 connectors, is this going to be enough to supply the GPU as technically there are 4 free PCIE (6+2) connections? Or will I have to get another cable?
If I need another, will need some guidance on which I should order?

I had 750w psu (two cables from psu and plug 3 connectors to gpu) while using xfx 7900xtx merc 310 and no issue at all
But you ordered that one for a family member lol so should be sealed into there hands, I can see this one in your machine and your one going back in box for family member lol so they will get a pre cooked 7900xtx lolSecond Nitro arrived, thanks @Gibbo. Holy crap, 46% Asic quality, other one was 42%. This one could be an absolute beast! Gonna be a fun weekend.
Good to hear, cheersMines fine mate, no problems at all. I haven’t had much chance to use it but when I tested it, it was all in line with expectations. The XT MBA seems like a much better card than the XTX MBA, which outside of its vapour chamber issues sounds like it gets a bit overwhelmed anyway. These things pull some serious power. I’m more than happy with the XT. To be honest part of me wondered if I should sell it given I just picked up a 4090, although I’ve got two PC’s, so currently one with both in. Might be a bit excessive…
