Thanks. In steelnomad 300 points means 3 fps. So what can be fps difference on 1440p gaming?I think I replied to your Reddit post yesterday. The difference between leader board positions will likely be 0.01fps and likely won't be stable overclocks for gaming.
3 fps won't make any difference. You wouldn't notice it. I would go for a GPU that has a higher wattage but then again, You still aren't guaranteed a well performing card.Thanks. In steelnomad 300 points means 3 fps. So what can be fps difference on 1440p gaming?
It more likely being windows and other programs grabbing some of it.I wonder if AMD can get the idle VRAM memory usage decreased, mines hovering at 2.1GB just in windows
Is it just apex or other games. I had some horrible stutters recently and it was a usb device misbehaving.Does anyone who has a 9070XT play Apex Legends? It feels like I'm getting micro stutters early game but FPS remains solid. They do eventually go away as the match progresses, but it just doesn't feel 144FPS with a VRR monitor smooth.
I actually found the issue with cp2077. I had my ddr4 clocked too high. Reset to normal xmp and has been fine sinceIf it’s crashing at stock surely that’s a case for an rma?
These games were in the May driver release. How are people finding FSR4 support? The official page is looking pretty anaemic - not sure anything has been added since launch. Everyone having to use Optiscaler on a game by game basis?
That would be windows grabbing .5GB for its own use.Hi there,
I had a question for 9070XT owners. Why does my 9070xt VRAM show as:
16384MB in GPU-Z
16304MB in AMD Adrenaline / CPU-Z
15732MB in DXDIAG & display driver settings
15.5GB in Task manager.
The latter is the most concerning, I've never seen a 16GB card register is 15.5GB
Is this just a windows error if GPUZ/CPUZ and Adrenaline are recognizing it?
I find myself using Optiscaler for a lot of titles as official support isn't there or arrives much later. Also Game Pass versions tend to get left out a lot either in driver support or game level support. It's annoying to have to use but at least Optiscaler works. How are people finding FSR4 support? Any idea why no other graphics card seems to show up this way? I've never seen this happen before at leastThat would be windows grabbing .5GB for its own use.
I don't think you can use just 2, cards usually won't boot if you do that?Is there any reason i would need to use all three 8-pin's on the Gigabyte XT Gaming OC?
i.e. does that GPU exceed the power provided by two 8-pin connrectors on decent PSU...

It's an OC card that uses around 330w stock, each 8 pin provides 150w, though I don't really know why it doesn't draw the extra 30w from the PCIE slot which can provide up to 75w.Is there any reason i would need to use all three 8-pin's on the Gigabyte XT Gaming OC?

Balancing that can be quite tricky. It's an OC card that uses around 330w stock, each 8 pin provides 150w, though I don't really know why it doesn't draw the extra 30w from the PCIE slot which can provide up to 75w.
Probably just making the system more honest about how it is actually operating.Any idea why no other graphics card seems to show up this way? I've never seen this happen before at least
