PHEW!!!
Just got in after popping in to the pub to watch the end of the cricket. Only to find I had 5 minutes to get everything loded up an shipped out before I was attacked.
Managed to do it just in the nick of time :)
The attacker won 3 metal, 2 crystal, 1 deuterium.
I'm trying to get back the debris field now (I lost six solar sattelites) to make his little trip completely worthless :D

Edit - it was 4:160:10 if any body fancies probing, though he did send 350 battleships. My level7 probe just got obliterated, but I did get all of the debris field :D (all 3,900 of it - including his probe he sacrificed)

do you guys still think tupa would easily beat us ?

i just looked at the stats and were only 3 places behind them . reckon that if they did start a war we would have a good chance. specially while PU ar still looking for tokra and spartans fleets

Well I've been having a little chat with John about it and if you look carefully at the stats we have a bigger fleet and we are 6th in the whole uni on research. So yeah, we probably would win but it would be extremely close and it'll set a lot of us back considerably

there's also the fact that in an actual war the bashing rule goes out the window, that means you just get smacked repeatedly by the same guy over and over :(

at least that's my undertstanding of it

judging by their posts on the OGame forum that i've seen a lot of them are fairly young so probably have all day to watch over their fleet and colony - i get the feeling a lot of us in T.N.G have jobs and lives outside of the game so would be harder for us to contend

just the feeling i get though :p

TUPA = 499k points with 27 members. Average points per member = 18.5k

T.N.G = 437k points with 110 members. Average points per member = 4k.

Still think we stand a chance?

yeah we should hold this of as much as we can untill the schools go back :p


then while theyre busy learning maths or something we bash away

i dont even think they have the guts to declare war.

If you fleetsave perfectly (and no one uses a phalanx) I promise you that you will never lose your resources - even if you only get 5 minute breaks at work. Thing is though that everyone makes mistakes and that's how people lose fleets.

Yep, during a war bashing is allowed. You can technically be attacked by one person more than 100 times a day without being classed as bashing though - it's 3 waves of 3 attacks each (9 in total), from each of 9 planets (81) and each of 9 moons you may have (162).

Except most IPM's only have a range of about 10 solar systems from the planet they're on. I know I don't have any TUPA members near me, certainly not within IPM range anyway.

Am I missing something here, I got this probe alert a while ago.

A foreign fleet from planet Mond [2:255:6] was sighted near your planet Grado [2:239:7]. Chance for counterespionage: 6 %

But when I look at those co-ords I see this guy, his planet isn't called Mond, is it?
