Its pretty relaxed where I work, as long as the work gets done its not a problem.

I work for a paintball company so its not like a regular office job, I don't have to wear a shirt and tie anymore for starters. :D

I'm getting uneasy about the amount of time things are taking.

I'm still without a ship (though I've got the ability to make ships now at least) and I've only got the following:

Metal mine: 12
Crystal mine: 10
Deuterium Synthesizer: 6
Solar plant: 12
Robotic Factory: 2
Shipyard: 4
Research lab: 3

Computer technology: 1
Energy Technology: 2
Combustion Engine: 2
Laser Technology: 3

I can now build Small Cargo Ships, Light Fighters and Solar Satellites, but not power them through lack of Deut - and Missile Launcher and Small Laser, but can't afford the resources :/

Stupid game.

I think it will be a little harder to get yourself going on your own really without our handouts/help so-to-speak. But get the cargo ship built asap. Start scanning inactive planets, and hit the ones without defence, you'll find you earn a lot more that way :). Either that or give up on that universe and come join us.
 
I just thought I'd leave my planet to build up and get a new one started, and Uni3 is full.

Unlucky.

Worth a try another time though (the total number of players is always changing due to inactives etc).
Odd though - the total number of players is apparantly 6511 atm (not a round number).
