Davey, so you still keep at least one colony free to plant where you like. I only have one left and was going to keep it for the same purpose as my other colonies are quite well spread out. Or am I better off just planting it somewhere?
 
A while ago i remember reading a tips page that had the best ratio of defense i.e 4 missiles to 2 small laser etc, anyone know which it is?
 
When you look at the Galaxy screen is the time in the "Action" column how long they've been online?

I keep attacking people and they always come online before I attack them and spend/ship off all their stuff :|

Missile launchers and small lasers do make good cannon fodder, just build lots, and run it through speed sim to see what you want to withstand attack wise. I have:

660ML
360SL
280HL
4GC
80IC
1SSD
1LSD
5 IPMs
6 ABMs
 
The score is coming on now. Almost a week after starting I'm on 677. Should the cadet class auto-update?

imo - get both domes, and even amounts of missile launchers / small lasers.

If you want to go for a heavier defence, get more missile launchers / small lasers. :p
 
Gilly last time i checked you were still a newbie we shouldnt even have that class! Davey really hasnt been looking after you lot over at TNGA. I never officially graduated either even at 13k points in TNGA :p. I wouldnt hold your breath waiting for him anyways ;).

I am not long starting out in this game. Name of Fulgrim, home planet Chemos (Games Workshop 40K reference for anyone who gives a damn), in uni 3 at 2:141:8.

One of my neighbours insists on repeatedly attacking me when I am offline. He has done this twice now and I think a third is on the way. It is not as if he is even making much. He is only sending light fighters but my defences are currently 0. I cannot see the point really as he is gaining little from the raids. For example:

He captures
3 Metal, 3 Crystal and 3 Deuterium

Pretty irritating as it is hard gathering the resources to mount an effective defence. :mad:

You're right, I have been slack lately. All ranks have now been updated.

Who's the neighbour? I'm close enough to pay him a visit.
 
Calls himself big player. Planet allcity at 2:141:7. I have no idea of defences or resources.

I am pretty sure fleet number 3 is on the way, judging by the messages I am getting.

I can understand that getting attacked from time to time is part of the game but repeatedly and for little gain is just spiteful IMHO.
