I would get Plasma too if i can research that last Plasma tech. But i tend to research whatever I have enough for instead of saving up. So doing Combustion Engine lvl 8 at the moment and Computer Tech lvl 9 before that.

I know Plasma would put people off big time, but it's just so hard to get 250k of crystal at the moment. I did have it one time, but didn't fleet save and lost it all. :(

Would you try now? Not great defense but it appears to be enough to keep most away, it also gets scanned everynight by ( A foreign fleet from planet Mond [2:17:4] ) whilst my fleet is home and he doesn't touch it, but he is also the reason why i do not build a bigger fleet on this planet :(
 
If you had more ships than that, then I certainly would (I could get through the defence only losing 3 battleships), but with what you've got there, I'd likely leave it alone, *unless* you'd left a lot of res lying around as well.

K, never leave that much res there, have taken your advise and that of the other members of the alliance, but i need 640k crystal for destroyers :( don't know how i will do it :( :( to much res laying around for days.
 
well with my defences and fleet at home it would take 750 Battleships before the losses would equal the debris field at the moment.

my fleet is never at home, but good to know :p
 
lol got fleet crashed as my fleet returned from ther attack - got completely thrashed by several hundred battleships hehe :)

Back to having zero ships again

If he didn't have those cruisers I'd have a go.
 
I know, its a nice target, I'd just lose too much taking out his cruisers for it to be worth it for me.
 
Though perhaps what he was doing, as is a favourite little trick, is to get a probe to attack you to make a debris field. He then deploys some recyclers to the espionage debris field (which are really slow). An hour or 2 later he sends his mega fleet, timed to arrive at your planet just before the recyclers do. They bust apart your fleet, the debris field grows, and his recyclers arrive shortly afterwards to cash in before anyone else can.

Consider him messaged. He's actually noob protected from me, so I couldn't hit him myself, but I'm sure we have others who can. Failing that, should he hit you, I'll crush him the moment he comes out of noob protection, and send him right back into it.

I probed him from my main planet after his probe had been crushed and I've not heard nor seen anything since, but I assume if his recyclers are going to a debris field it wouldn't tell me even though its next to my planet.
