The Return of DFI?

I was always a big fan of DFI, but I had some bad experiences with the 975X - cracking board but 3 of them died within 6 months each in exactly the same way so I'd be hesitant to purchase from them again despite many years of really good results with the earlier infinity and lanparty ranges. However if they do a good core 2 + SLI board then I might be interested however their webpage isn't loading for me atm which doesn't help to inspire me with confidence.

The webpage is fine & i would not judge the quality of a product on how fast the webpage loads.
Asus webpage loads much slower.

Why would any one judge the quality of a product soley on the speed of the related website?

Doesn't work with my BT connection at home for some reason but if I proxy through my dedicated server it loads fine.

Afaik there is only one UK E-tailor who stocks DFI and the range is limited.

I would deffo take an X38 T3R:cool:

asus and gigabyte are too overpriced these days, gigabyte, king of budget have ceased offering as good/featured boards on the low end and the top end are overpriced
High end DFIs are, if anything, even dearer these days probably due to very low volume relative to companies like Asus or Gigabyte.
The R & D & setup costs have to be recouped over far fewer mobos.

Would be great to see a few boards.
Imagine I'd be tempted to get one after how much I loved the DFI Ultra-D's I have used and the Expert I had. Wish I still had that board! lol

On the value side, I reckon those of us that can't really afford boards upwards of £110-120 would appreciate the DFI LanParty P35 DK or maybe the DFI P35 Blood Iron? :)

While my DFI RD600 wasn't as brilliant as the previous LanParty's I've bought I do like their boards and would certainly like the option to be able to buy one. Distribution of these boards seem incredibly dire in the UK :o

LANPARTY LT P35-T2R

Looks more appealing than the UT Heatpipe CRAP scaffolding version, especially for people wanting to watercool I guess, if the price is right I maybe interested myself i.e. cheap as the Abit IP35 PRO. ;)
LANPARTY UT 790FX-M2R

LANPARTY LT X38-T2R

LANPARTY UT P35-T2R

Just for a taster...
the range depends on price, shipping costs and demand really...As you probably know I don't hold the entire range of any manufacturer though I cherry pick the best performing, best value boards for my customers...
The reason the DFI website is slow is because he linked the USA links to the DFI website NOT the European versions i.e. USA (English):- Euro DFI WEBSITE it gives you the option where it says Language in top right corner of the website, just change it to - UK (English)

Asus website runs off one of thier old Canterwood boards

Asus website is powered by an old man on a penny farthing. :D:D

Back to DFI. Get them in. I might even ditch my P5E for that Lanparty X38. Gopping colour scheme but what a bios to play with. Superb NB cooling too with no heatpipe everywhere. Being DFI though i would imagine these will be expensive.

wouldn't mind trying the DFI X38 board just to see if it can push my gear any harder than the Maximus.

i'm no stranger to a tweakers bios, especially DFI, but that X38 bios is just

be good to have a retailer stock all of the DFI range, get them in you will sell loads!
