I can't believe how many things I would have lost over the years if I didn't think back to my mum's advice if I'd misplaced something.

"Well, where did you last have it?"

I was originally told it's a British version of MASH which is really isn't but you're right, it's very, very funny.
 
no good deed goes unpunished ,remember reading about a guy who lost an eye helping an injured seagull ,but dont we all do good deeds and end up in a place thats worse sometimes.
not saying i dont do good deeds ,just saying
 
If I turn left through 360 degrees, I'd be tangled up so I have to turn back right 360 degrees.
 
My landlords rule of the universe is.
replace old smoke alarms 6 months ago.
more fire safety works carried out today , let me fit you another 3 smoke alarms
now I have a total of 8 in a 1 bed room flat

I don't know if I feel safe with only 2 alarms per room

some of the older ones seemed to be only powered by replace in 10 year batteries but one of them connected to the mains and they all connect to each other by wifi magic,

I guess the government is forcing mains powered smoke alarms in every room or something, since the new ones chain off the light bulb socket somehow
