The Saboteur

Where's everyone at with this game? I passed 50% yesterday.

Does the Sten become available from the shop at a later date? I found one on one of the missions, but checking the shop, there's no "????" in the machine gun slot, meaning that I've got all the machine guns already?
 
I think their is a few more machine guns than MP40 and MP44 and the sten I had it, only cos I play it aggressively and like exploring things and blowing stuff up

nah the ???? only applies to weapons from perks there's more rifles and mg's etc but they just appear with no ????? before.
 
well I managed to get a sten from the first SOE mission, but it didn't show up in black market, unlocked the tommy gun instead :p

game don't play very well for me anymore, all I did was try to blow up a bridge, I think a reinstall won't go a miss

I think it is worth buying, I think it is like GTA IV and Assassins Creed (climbing across roof tops is useful and sometimes required for missions). Since the patch I have not had any problems with it crashing on i7/hd 5870 setup.

I completed the main story in 24-25 hours and still have many more missions to complete, also I find the missions to be varied.
 
It IS a good game, I m going to be honest to you a few things stop it from being a great one, and that is your actions don't seem saboteur like, more guerrilla like

Well, you run around shooting people and silently breaking their necks, so if she's 8, then no, it's not a great game for her.
 
Great game .. really enjoyed it ..but its very buggy even with patch .. see through textures / ctd's / lock ups etc . Dropping to 2 cores fixed it most of the time but not very stable . But so far i cant get enough of it . Great range of missions . Good story line and very much how i remember mafia .

they only addressed the stability and performance problems in this patch, not sure if they are going to add content, sort bugs and glitches out, they better
 
yeah I ran into a few myself, mainly the classic GTA glitch were you can see stright through the road or something or the buildings go see through
 
Really enjoying playing The Saboteur. Had zero problems, just worked straight after install. Love the b & w style and loved the backstory flashback.

It's also the first game that I've played that recreates Nazi occupation and thus the first game that has filled me with dread just passing swastika-bannered buildings. Only problem is the missions are quite easy (on normal anyway). Also, the GTA 4 style zone on your GPS that you must escape from is also easy (even easier than GTA 4!)
 
one thing I have noticed is if i drive fast enough in a straight line I can out run the rendering :/

Suddenly driving on thin air till it catches up and renders the road >.<
