This phone just gets better and better.

Also recommend the new YouTube application, runs so smooth and plays video instantly over my wi-fi connection. Just google youtube and select the first mobile link to install.

Am on the orange 500mb plan,i usually use the internet everyday browsing and looking at youtube and gps and still have usually 200mb remaining at the end of the month,you can usually check how much of your allowance you've used online either on the comp or using the phone.

Hey guys,

This phone's getting delivered today for me, it's been a long while since i actually got a brand new phone, so, are we still in the days where they recommend you charge the phone for at least like 12 hrs before even using it?

Ther you go mate. All the info you need on getting rid of the orange rubbish installed. I've done mine last week and it's better.

I charged mine until it told me that it was fully charged. Took me about 2 hours i think. Been fine since.

So there's no risk with changing the orange gubbins out?

Also, im on Vista, i think i remember reading that the process only works on XP. Which country is best, im not really that up to speed on all the phone stuff, i just hate the Orange software!

I've got 1 of these and they are AMAZING in everyway...I'm just stuck on using the Widgets thingy...is it possible to put a bookmark (web link) on url like Twitter or Google links onto the widget???

Sorry i put the wrong link in. No issues at all flashing the phone. You do have to use an xp machine as it's not vista compatable. The link below will tell you how to do it.

Yes it does. You can reflash it back to the orange firmware before you send it back.

Just downloaded a Widget for Twitter, and connected my phone to the PC. I then transferred the file from my PC to Mass Memory, but I don't know how to install it...any ideas???

Same with me regarding the upgrades...but they have their orange crap on it, so its a bit of a downer and i dont wanna attempt to flash it cuz knowing my look il mess it up somehow lol...i just want help with putting widgets on which i have downloaded on the PC...anyone know?

Which RAR files do you unzip from the firmware Italy etc download, sorry to be a noob, just want to get it right obviously, being cautious

Ok the Download start button is greyed out.

I chose CODE XML : CODE_I8910XXIF7.xml
CSC XML: CSC_I8910ITVIE5.xml
Modem Bin (one i think is wrong) : I8910XXIE9.bin

What am i doing wrong :/

Sorted it all, but now i have the problem that i can't update the phone software as the PC studio says there's no phone connected when i try the update, though it detects it before hand ?? :confused:
