The Sausage Thread

I have found cooking sausages in my air fryer to be a great way to get seriously well cooked sausages!

Perfect colour all around, soft centres with good retention.

Not sure if I have offended anyone with this suggestion

I really like the Asda taste the difference pork ones. Like 95% pork and I do them in the oven and they actually increase in size! Lovely texture and taste too.

Also, Richmond's are awful. Dreadfully low pork content, full of fillers and an awful meat paste texture. Gross.

Clonakilty Traditional Irish Pork Sausages, which sadly no longer seem to be available from Ocado, were really good for a non butcher sausage, though they did get a touch too salty I felt. But a really good tasting sausage.

Been eating those Asda ones lately too. They’re very good for a high meat content sausage. Like you I do them in the oven and you get a nice smooth middle and a there’s a nice bite to the skin. Highly recommended
