I am a chap of no taste. I am satisfied with Richmond, cheap and cheerful, sausages. No one else, in my family, likes them.
The ones they like are : https://lidgates.com/products/cumberland-sausages-400g
Lidgates are a lot nicer. Just a £5 a sausage ;(
Been eating those Asda ones lately too. They’re very good for a high meat content sausage. Like you I do them in the oven and you get a nice smooth middle and a there’s a nice bite to the skin. Highly recommendedI really like the Asda taste the difference pork ones. Like 95% pork and I do them in the oven and they actually increase in size! Lovely texture and taste too.
Also, Richmond's are awful. Dreadfully low pork content, full of fillers and an awful meat paste texture. Gross.
