Blue Bytes back for Settlers, can't wait for this! I have to echo comments regarding Steam only, I to hope on this but unlikely.

Blue Byte were one of my favourite childhood devs. Settlers and Battle Isle 2. I still occasionally play/mod BI2 occasionally, but as a child/teenager it was amazeballs. And slow. Had to wait like 10 mins for the AI to take its turn

I've been playing the history edition of all the settlers games. I forgot how much fun they are. I'll definitely be picking this up when its released. Any fan should pick up the history edition. Playing settlers 1 on modern hardware brought back so many memories

So overdue this, still no solid release. At this point I'm actually wondering if they are just going to chin it off. Manor Lords must have them worried as it looks incredible.

When we last checked in with The Settlers, Ubisoft Blue Byte was announcing the game at Gamescom 2018. Back then, the studio was forecasting a launch in Autumn 2019. That date was delayed into this year, but now Blue Byte has said that The Settlers won’t be coming out in the near future. The release date has now been postponed indefinitely.

Ah man, sad to hear this. Settlers 1 is still one of my favourite games of all time. Some of the most recent ones did suck, tho.

Same, 1 & 2 hold such fond memories for me in my early teens on the Amiga. That, Dune and Syndicate amazing times.

I bought some pack that had all 7 in. The first 2 were good, and I think I played 3, but then it just went a bit downhill. I like the original versions where you couldn't control much.
