The SFF Case Gallery And Specs Thread

FYI: Asking for competitor links / names is against the forum rules

As far as I see it, OCUK don't sell the trim. So someone who does sell it isn't a competitor.

True, but as the item in question is one that OCUK don't sell, that seems a bit picky to me! But, I'm the newbie, so I'll conform!!!! :D

LOL it's not picky ;)

If you link to somewhere that sells any type of computer/computer related hardware then obviously its classed as a competitor - regardless of if they stock that particular item or not.

It's like saying "ok I have a car, but because it isn't the same brand as yours then you don't qualify as a rival in a benchmark 0-60"

whats the qpack cases like for building in looking at getting one and using some pc parts that i have lying around

Its fairly easy, although can be a pain with the height of the heatsink, if its too tall you cant slide the tray out. Same with a video card cooler, the Zalman VF700 for instance. With it in place, the card wont push into the machine using the sliding tray, but its all easy enough to get round.

hmmm is there a site that reviews and compares both the antec aria and Qpak?

Havent seen any, but the Qpack is probably easier, and you can use a bigger heatsink still, just means putting it on with the tray slid in. The Aria has a dodgy shape psu, meaning only certain heatsinks fit.

That does depend slightly on what Mobo and Vid card you are using, but yes it's tight with non standard coolers. My 1800xl with a vf700 twanged one fin on it's way in and out of the case. I would recommend the Qpack, there are quite a few threads on it if you want more info.

Nice to see your setup p4radox, I see you are still pimping the biostar mobos :)
What keyboard do you have there? is it smaller than standard?

Yeah, I love it when you buy something cheap and it's great. :)

It's a Coolermaster alloy keyboard. Really nice, but laptop arrangement.

The DVD's stealthed because IMO the G chassis looks ugly otherwise.

Not sure on temps, all the readings are screwed, reckoned it went to 75 on full load the other day but a64s won't take that sort of heat lightly, it was rock solid and the rad was pretty cool.
